'Survivor 46' star reveals where his potential tiebreaker vote would've gone

A tiebreaker is invoked when two or more individuals share the same amount of votes at Tribal Council with no other person receiving a higher amount.

One of these "Survivor" castaways just won a million bucks.

"Survivor 46" episode 13 brought the castaways to the final tribal council where they met with the jury and discovered who won the $1 million. But before the big reveal, host Jeff Probst dropped a bombshell: there was a tie.

Erika Casupanan and Heather Aldret both received four votes, forcing a tiebreaker. In the event of a tie, the remaining castaways must vote again, with the person receiving the most votes winning the game.

But before the castaways could vote again, Probst revealed that one person had not cast a vote: Ben Katzman.

Katzman, who was voted out in the previous episode, said he did not cast a vote because he did not want to influence the outcome of the game.

"I didn't want to be the deciding vote," Katzman said. "I wanted the jury to decide who they thought deserved to win."

However, Katzman did reveal who he would have voted for if he had been given the chance.

"I would have voted for Erika," Katzman said. "I thought she played a better game than Heather."

Katzman's decision to not cast a vote was a controversial one, with some fans criticizing him for not wanting to take responsibility for his vote.

However, Katzman defended his decision, saying that he wanted to let the jury make the final decision.

"I think the jury made the right decision," Katzman said. "Erika played a great game and she deserved to win."
